Thank you. The girls played great all week. The best ball they had played all season. We had one girl hit 2 over the fence homeruns and pegged 2 more off the fence in centerfield this week. Needless to say, afterwards she got intentionally walked 3 times.

The highlight was Friday night. We played in a game that lasted 2 1/2 hours.... 9 innings. Obviously we won the game 5-4. It truely put our girls to the test and they responded with outstanding defense. It was great... the Cincy Magic team was sitting in our stance cheering our girls on. Thank you to Del Hodges and the Magic Ladies.... true class act all the way.

Our 2 losses were from Warren Wave Silver - Gurnee, Illinois (The Winners) and Point Fastpitch - Stevens Point, Wisconsin (4th place finish). Both team were very solid.

We had wins against the following teams.... (3 were in the top ten)
NYA Raiders - Norwood, Minnesota
Indiana Lightning Elite - Bloomingotn, Indiana
Windmills '96 - Oak Park, Illinois
Oak Lawn Diamonds

It was a great experence and I applaud the way our girls played this past week. Great way to finish the season..... 6th place out of 31 teams!
