RT is aluminum and it should be used in warm weather.
I have brought this up before as to ASA bat standards.
If they, ASA set the standard why is it they, do not require a bat to be used that will not be damaged or could possibly become damaged in temperatures less than 50 to 60 degrees?
If the bat breaks or could be damaged or becomes defective during a game that was inspected by the umpire prior to the game and you are playing in temperatures under the 50 or 60 temperatures depending on the bat company, then who is liable? The umpire knowing the temperature is below the manufacturer warranty limit as they say it voids the warranty on the bat? Is The Ohio Athletic Officials for allowing bats to be used in temperature less than recommended by the bat companies? Is the parent or player using the bat liable as you assume responsibility for letting the under aged child use the bat?
Everyone should send ASA, NSA etc asking for an answer, as probably the third baseman, pitcher and and catcher are really the only ones at risk and the umpire and third base coach are fair game (just kidding)
