ASA National Umpire School

Just wanted to throw this out there, since I know some other umpires frequent these boards.

This weekend (3/1/08) we are lucky enough to have the ASA National Umpire School taking place in Massillon, Ohio. This should be a great clinic, taught by members of the State and National staffs.

So, are any of the other umpires here planning on attending? After all the boring rules stuff, we would have to get together in the hospitality room! ;D

Had some problems with my hotel reservations in Massillon.

But once I convinced them that my seeing eye dog wasn't a "pet", we worked it out.

That would be classic. Show up at an umpires convention with a seeing-eye-dog while wearing the big black Stevie Wonder glasses just to see the look on the faces.
