ASA National Umpire School

Just thought I'd check to see if any of the other blues on this board will be attending the ASA National Umpire School this weekend in Columbus. I know that there are a few umpires that post here and it's always nice to be able to put a face with a name and it would be great to meet any of the regulars from OFC.

For those not familiar with this, the National Umpire School is a two day clinic presented at various sites around the country each year, taught by members of the ASA National Umpire Staff.

Yes, despite what many coaches might think, we really do get training in rules and mechanics before they toss us out on the field!

Yes, Dan, that was one drawback during the indoor league. With just a few minutes between each game there wasn't much time to socialize. It would be great to spend a little more time with all of the OFC guys that were out there this year!
