ASA procedure for dropping adding players

I see its listed below for NSA but what is it for ASA. I have players that would like to leave their current team to join ours. Her dad is worried that there may be bad feelings towards her if word gets out that she is unhappy with her current situation and would like to see it change.

502 and 503 sections. I think NSA really needs to look at changing , because many teams cannot field enough players in the spring due to conflicts with high school and middle school ball. So they cannot play in NSA tourneys. They play USSSA and ASA, for those reasons.

Correct me if im wrong but as long as both teams are not in the same qualafier or state tournament they dont need released.

I though ASA didn't use the "release" procedure.

And don't they have a little glitch in which, if you're on one team when they qualify for nationals, you cannot change teams and play at nationals with the other?

I'm pretty sure you're talking USSSA. In ASA, I believe you have to be released from your team if you are playing for another team in "championship" play, which includes qualifiers. Once you are released, then you cannot return to that team.
