I heard that Pinnacle Sports will be hosting a Hitting/Slapping and Coach?s Clinic with Larry Ray from Arizona University. I know that Arizoina has one of the best programs in college but has anyone heard him and will it be worth the time and money???

Larry Ray is a very dynamic speaker, he spoke at the coaches conference last year in Columbus.

Looked at Pinnacle's site did not see anything about it though.

I have played against Larry Ray and Arizona a few years ago when I was coaching at Simon Fraser University (lost 4-1 with Finch on the mound) but I had a chance to talk to Coach Ray and he is a great gentleman and a passionate about the short game.

Your time will definitely be worth it. He was actually sort of a pioneer in the 1990`s turning AZ into a short game (not even counting their power side) powerhouse and is easily recognized as one of the leading expert on the topic of slapping. Has 2 videos out on the topic as well I believe.

I strongly encourage you to go.

I heard that the clinic is not until October. I heard the the softball part of Pinnacle is bringing in Larry Ray and Caitlin Lowe from team USA. Can hadly wait!!!!

Have both seen Larry present, and had a beverage with him. Great guy and knows his stuff.
