My daughter uses a DeMarini CF-10 ,32 drop 10 composite bat. Thinking of getting her the end loaded version. Have any of you made a switch like that and was it a good choice? Thank you for any input.

Where are you located? I have a 32 -10 CF8 insane she can try if you're close to North Canton.

Appreciate that. I'm about an hour North up by the lake. Did you start off with a balanced bat before the end loaded?

We are from Youngstown and have the same bat and would offer the same. The insane 'end loaded' bat is barely noticeable according to my DD. Would recommend the bat!

Yes, she was swinging a balanced bat and after a Demo day she was sold on the insane. We tried the new CF-X balanced and it quickly went back in her bag and she went back to the insane. Like WSHEELY, my DD said it's not that much different, just feels a little heavier which is due to it being end loaded.
I would say if your DD has a strong swing she shouldn't notice much difference.

Also, if you're interested, I would sell you the 32 -10 CF8 insane for $75. It has 2 summer seasons and 1 HS season on it. It needs a new grip but other than that it still has pop. She's moved up to a 33 -10 CF8 insane....which was a real treat to find a new one 2 years after it was made... PM me if you're interested.

I would say start balanced. When the swing improves and you have a better hand path where you release underneath instead of a circular swing then you could move to a end loaded bat.

Be sure her swing mechanics are solid before changing to an end loaded bat. It can give her a different "feel" as mentioned in above posts but for some it's like wearing an old glove, it simply fits.
