Big Ten Champions?

Michigan and Northwestern ended the regular season today both tied dead even in the Big Ten. The Big Ten regular season champion hosts the Big Ten tournament and to decide who hosts, a coin was tossed in the Big Ten offices and Northwestern won. WOW, a coin toss to decide the regular season! Imagine that!

The coin toss was to see who would host the Big Ten tournament. The big 10 regular season champ normally gets that honor. They are still CO-winners of the regular season for whatever that is worth.

I know the toss was for to host the tournament and they are co-champions, but I know players and coaches with both those teams and trust me, to them hosting that tournament IS the season!

lol, I really hope that is NOT the season for those 2 teams. I find that comment funny.

O.K. let's clairify it some more AGAIN. To host the tournament is the culmination of what they've worked for in conference play. As far as the rest of the SEASON I fully expect to see one or both of those teams in the World Series. If anyone else laughs I'll make them pay by starting another Bigtrain thread. ;)
