Just got done leaving the last game of the day. Louisiana Patriots that beat Buckeye Heat 4-0 earlier today were beating Washington Sidewinders 5-0 in 5th inning of winner's bracket game.

YESS Doom 95 in a nail biter. 1-0 over Vienna Stars 95. looked at the stars team pamplet. strong resume including playing up at 16u all summer and playing in the colorado firecracker. very good win over a quailty opponent.

and on the field next to us doom 96 goes into the 6th down 1-0 and explodes for a 4 run inning to cruise past the Ga Impact 7-1 . Both doom teams move on. Really exciting games.

Doom 96 had to play immed after their win, we are off til 6pm . we get loser of a winners bracket game Bomb Squad VS Wildfire 95 . should one or both of the doom teams advance to sat it's a top 24 finish out of 155 teams. lets hope ! MD

Heat plays Worth Prospects next in about 45 minutes. The Doom win over the Vienna Stars was a great win. I watched the Stars beat the Oregon Thunder 3-0 this morning in a game where the Stars had only one hit against a pitcher for the Thunder who the Pac 10 is all over.

I'm still amazed at how good these teams are at this age. The Tennessee Fury 95 and 96 are both fantastic. And then you have all the top California teams, as well as a ton of great Texas teams and Georgia teams. Not much representation from Florida, oddly.
