Momto77, I have 5 9 year olds on my team incuding my own DD. While some of them have adjusted to the speed of the game faster than others there is no doubt they will be stonger players as 10 year olds than if they had stayed in the local rec program. The coaching they have received from our coaching staff since last fall is already showing after 1 tourney. The other thing they really like is playing with other kids who can actually play softball rather than only having a few kids on the team who can and the rest just trying to figure out what to do. It is a little late to find a team but if you can jump in there with her.

Seems like alot of teams this year have more than a few 9's on them. Next year should be an exciting years for 10's

While you are looking for a team get Sammie to work with her. I think Mandy would help. She was inexperienced when she joined the Doom96 at 10. We saw something in the paper about John looking for players and we went to one of his practices. I never heard of Fastpitch before that. John's the reason I have no life anymore.

Yeah Doom is why my summers are gone as well. Even though there is no 10u team this year she played for 10u Doom last year and that got her hooked on fastpitch.
