Buckeye Heat '08 Black

Buckeye Heat '08 Black will be a Non-Parent coached team. The team will practice in Marion. We will play 2 fall tournaments, possibly 1 winter tournament, and 4 summer tournaments plus ASA "A" Eastern Nationals in Findlay. This is a schedule that I believe will give the girls a good introduction to travel softball. I have 10 years travel coaching experience (10U-16U) previously coaching my '95 daughter and most recently Buckeye Heat '02 Black. After taking a year off to recharge the batteries I am excited to start with a new age group and build this '08 team.
I will be holding private tryouts until the Buckeye Heat has our organization tryouts. If you are interested in getting your daughter into travel softball with a great organization and a coach that will teach the fundamentals, make the game fun, and prepare your daughter to advance through the older age groups then this is the team for your family. Buckeye Heat tryouts will be held Saturday August 12 at Concord Park (6299 Home Rd, Delaware, OH 43015). There will be a morning session running from 9-12 and then an afternoon session running from 1-4. 10U-18U will be trying out at the same time on four different fields. Online registration will be up and running shortly which will allow for a much quicker check in. Please keep checking back for further updates. We are well on our way to building a solid new team that will contribute to the ongoing success of The Buckeye Heat organization. We are looking to add 7-8 '08 (will consider '09) players including another pitcher and catcher. Outside of those 2 positions we are looking for fast athletic players that want to learn the game at a high level and have fun while doing it.
