I'm not lost, what Ron means I think is that there are no players in Ohio like Sito and Dill......he's right, there just isn't many that can play at that level.
Hilliard, I think you are on to it... There have been elite players.. at this level... and they have not been recruited... recently I think things are changing, but I just think OSU missed a couple top players because word was, a few years ago, if your from OHIO your not playing at OSU.. maybe Im way off here but this is how I have seen things..
I agree AceGRC. I would like to note that I took my daughter to the fall Miami University (Ohio) camp, and I truly believed they were genuinely looking at these Ohio players as possible recruits. Tremendous hand-on from the Miami players, and coaches closely evaluating every step these young players made. Afterward, we received an evaluation signed from the head coach with recommendations that you could believe.I think there are more Colleges in the past 3 years taking a good look at Ohio players. We can not be that far behind in the amount of quality players coming up.
Scouts would be crazy to pass up Ohio talent!
MD. These are all pitchers. If not mistaken, those close to Gabriel indicate she has wanted Tennesse forever. OSU didn't stand a chance. And Alveo was in 8th grade when verballed? What about the position players though? Does Ohio produce elite position players worthy of big money? OSU gives 25%, and Toledo may give 60% to the same player. Where does the player go? does that mean OSU didn't recruit the player?
This year's and next year's OSU class has a lot of Ohio postion players compared to the last 10 years or so and based on earlier comments, OSU stinks. Can't field the ball.
