The Bustos Blast Classic is excited to offer a Four Hour Hitting & Fielding Clinic for all athletes. (You don't have to be playing in the tournament to participate in the clinic!) This event will featuring Howard Carrier, personal hitting instructor to Crystl Bustos and former Chinese National Team hitting coach. The clinic will be held Saturday morning, prior to 'games' starting! Why prior to the start of the tournament? Howard wants all participants to be able to practice what they just learned while he is there to help you further understand the techniques learned. For the younger ages our U18 team and Bustos coaches will be available to sit in the dugouts and answer any questions or give one on one instruction to the players. The cost of the Clinic is $60 and includes a clinic ?T? shirt. For additional details or to obtain a registration packet, please email Tom Wiesman at twiesman@cinci.rr.com or call (513) 385-1846. May 24, 2008. There is still room for team registration for the Blast as well.

I get a lot of e-mails wanting to watch me work with other kids so you can understand this better...good way to do it is to show up for this clinic.

You can film it and ask questions through out the day as we did last year so you can see your players make it happen.

Crystl and I got a lot of positive feed back doing it this way so we do listen to what you have to say.

There was a parent there last year that was convinced that squishing the bug was the only way to hit and after a few hours he tried it our way and his daughter did much better...lets see how much progress she has made since last year.

Look forward to seeing all of you again.

Patty called the other night and said they were painting the complex and that there were about 22 teams signed up so far.

If everyone that has called me shows up...this could be the biggest one yet.

Thanks Howard

Due to the bridge accident at 275 and 74, please use the directions below or go to the Rivershores site above and use the alternate route listed there.

The Ohio Department of Transportation is asking motorists to use the following detours:

Eastbound motorists on I-74 are being diverted to southbound I-275 to Kilby Road and back onto northbound I-275 to eastbound I-74.

Westbound I-74 remains open, however the ramp from westbound I-74 to southbound I-275 is closed. Motorists can proceed to the Dry Fork Road exit to eastbound I-74 to I-275.
