Our team has 2 8's, 4 9's & 2 10's, as of Jan. 8, with no travel ball experience. With that being said Diamonds - Team Fitz is still in it to win it!

We would like to do a couple early friendlies, at your field or ours.

Any other young team or experience limited team, I have access to a school gym large enough for infield game simulation with live pitching and live hitting. Not enough room for outfield though.

If I dont hear from some of you 10u coaches I'll be forced to scrimmage Jamie Edwards team too often. Scrimmaging Jamie's team, for us, is like fighting your older sister.....you never win.

This will be a solid 10u tourney with many of the better 10u teams from around the state. We are offering 2 berths - 1 to the USA/ASA 10u Nationals in Johnson City, Tn and the other berth offered is to the Eastern 'A' Nationals in Salem, Va.

If we get to the maximum of 8 teams, we are going to pay for the winnings team entry fee to the ASA/USA Nationals in Johnson City, TN. That is a $350-400 savings for the team.

Ohio Blast ASA ENQ - June 10-12, 2011

The entry fee for 10U has been reduced to $275 (4GG) for our tournament. We currently have 3 spots open at 10U and will accept the next 3 teams that pay in full. All other age brackets are full and have a waiting list. The Ohio Blast organization is also sponsoring a food drive along with our tournament. For each non-perishable food item that is brought to our tournament, you will receive a raffle ticket. Bring 10 items, get 10 tickets, and so on. Vendors are supporting our tournament by donating various items for the raffle. An up-to-date list of these items can be found on our website. At the end of the first round of games on Sunday, our organization will begin to raffle off these items.

Additionally, the Akron Racers will be bringing four (4) players to our tournament on June 11, 2011 from 11am - 1:30pm. A canopy will be set up to meet these players and will also have merchandise available for purchase. The Akron Racers will also donate a gift certificate for 4-VIP tickets as well as a gift basket to support our Second Harvest Food Bank Drive. In addition, teams attending our tournament can use the flyer below to purchase tickets to their opening series from June 9th - 12th.
