Cap City Force is pleased to announced Becky (Chain) Burky as their new '04 head coach! Becky comes from a baseball and softball family and has been involved with the game since childhood. She grew up in North Canton, Ohio and played softball in high school for the North Canton Hoover Vikings. Her parents both played ball in college as well as her brother playing baseball at Mount Union and sister playing softball at Ohio State. Becky was a 3rd baseman and played for Allegheny College. Her freshman year she played in the Women's College World Series, finishing 4th in the nation. Since college she has continued to play and coach. This is her 5th year as a head coach. Becky is competitive and not only believes in developing her players fundamentally, but also as young women. Becky is married to Ryan and left teaching to start a family. She has 4 children ages 7-13.

Assisting Becky on our '04 team will be:

Jim Chain - Jim as been involved with baseball and softball for over 60 years. He had a successful college career including holding the record for home runs and is a member of the Stark County Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame. Jim is married and has 3 grown children and 10 grandchildren. He is retired and currently gives private softball lessons on his softball field at his home.

Larry George - Larry played baseball for 15 years and continued playing as an adult. He has coached girls fast pitch for rec and travel teams for 7 years and offers extensive knowledge to the outfielders. Larry believes in building winners by teaching the right way the first time, not gimmicks for short term gains. Larry is a vice president of finance at JPMorgan Chase and is married with 2 daughters ages 14 and 12.

Curt Campagna - Curt has over 10 years of experience coaching both girls travel softball and boys travel baseball in Ohio and Illinois.
