MY 11 yo DAUGHTER PLAYS CATCHER - SHE HAS HER OWN GEAR (WILSON BRAND) COMPLAINS THAT CHEST PAD RIDES UP INTO HER HELMET AND NECK WHEN SHE IS DOWN IS THERE A BRAND THAT MAKES A SMALLER VERSION OR IS CUT OUT AT NECK AREA? WE HAVE LOOKED AT DICK'S SPORTING GOODS AND HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL. THANKS FOR ANY INPUT

My 13 year old daughter is also a cathcer - although she is really small for her age at 4' 9.5". I asked her about her chest protector, and she does not have any problems with her newest one, which is made by Easton. I had her try them on in the store first, and get into cathcing position to make sure it was comfortable before we bought hers. She tried several and serveral different stores before she chose the Easton. The inside tag reads "natural cp int bk". Hope this helps!

Try the Worth Prodigy. It is adjustable in the middle with velcro and fits snug to the body. My DD is on her second one.

Schutt has a line specifically for females. I know once my daughter tried it in 12u, she used it until last year her final game in 18u.

I bought a all-star brand for my dd(12u) small for her age, however she loved it along w\ other team members.( baseballsavings) I purchased the whole set helment, guards, chest protecter , knee savers, throat guard for 90.00 dollars back in april. (check the specials) might still have it.

we love our 2008 Model Mizuno and Easton sets. Two different sizes we have allow us to size them to the player-made a difference for our catchers and their comfort.
