For the second year the Home Plate of Western Stark County is offering a catching clinic for the winter season (Nov1st-April 30th). Clinics will be held on Sundays from 4-6 at the Home Plate of Western Stark County, 739 3rd St SE, Massillon, Ohio 44646. We will be teaching the girls the skills and techniques required to be an excellent catcher at any level (8U-16U). We will gear the clinic to each student's abilities. Everything from throwing technique to proper footwork will be taught. The concept of the game and understanding of play calling from behind the plate will also be emphasized. If you are a dedicated catcher that wants to learn the fundamentals to be an excellent catcher, this clinic is for you.
