The deadline to get your $100 deposit in to hold a spot is approaching.

If you would like to play in our tournament please send the registration form and entry fee, or $100 deposit in by Monday, September 24th.

I would like to get t-shirt pre-order forms out later that week and schedules out the first week of October.

We are still in need of a couple more 14U teams as well as a couple more 18U teams.

If your schedule conflicts due to volleyball for the 14U age group we have plans in place to work around this issue.

I was going to look you up after the game but I wasn't not happy with my girls body language and got side tracked lol... You know how it is, a few miscues, heads drop, shoulders slump. They knew they had to play well to compete so as soon as they made mistakes the moping started lol.

You guys have a REAL nice team, I was impressed!

Thanks Uber. We are new to this team this year, and I agree. Kit and Kem have put together a good team. You girls did a very good job. They should not be upset with themselves. Your girls made some real good plays. The centerfielder that made the diving catch. The transition from 10u to 12u is the hardest transition.

Kind of a funny story about her, her dad is an assistant coach and she's a catcher and 3rd basemen all last year until our last 2 games at Stingrays... I asked her to play CF because she's so fast and we were getting blooped to death. So she plays it for 2 games and I tell her dad that's her natural position does she like it? He says if that's where her team needs her she loves it...I'm thinking ok I'm not getting anywhere with him lol, so I asked her "Do you like CF? She says if that's where you need me, I love it" again not getting anywhere. So I asked her a different way and she says " I never really thought about what position I like playing, I just play where you put me" Eventually she said she liked it, when they hit balls to her. Lol I wish I could get my DD to have that attitude!

On behalf of the Central Ohio Ice, I would like to thank all the teams that participated in helping make the First Annual "Fall Chiller" a success. There were great plays and competetion at all age groups this past weekend. Lucklily the rain held out long enough on Sunday to enable us to get in almost all of the Championship games (18u had 1 out left). I would like to congratulate the following teams:
