Cincy Slammers 18u Orange Looking to Add 2-3 Players to talented Group

Cincy Slammers 18u Orange formerly NKY Bandits 16u is looking to add 2-3 talented players to a very talented roster. This team finished it 2014 summer season by winning it's final tournament of the year. We would like to add a strong #1 caliber pitcher, a good outfielder someone with speed who is a good handler of the bat would be a huge plus, and a player with a big bat that we can add to the middle of our line-up to compliment an offense that scored a ton of runs this past season. This team will have an active fall and winter season, and will play a strong competitive schedule next summer. We are looking for players that are not only a fit athletically, but also fit with our team culturally. The Slammers will be holding tryouts on the following dates and times;

This tryout will still be held even if there is inclement weather. In the event we are not able to hold the tryout outside due to rain, we will move the tryout inside fpr 10u and 12u to SWOBAT 9230 Port Union Rialto Rd, West Chester Township, OH 45069. The time for the tryout will remain the same 9:00 AM to Noon. An update will be posted here in the event of a change. If nothing is posted the tryouts will go on as scheduled outdoors.

Parents beware and do your homework and I'm not referring to the organization!!!!

It is funny you should say that 1tuffmum, all the players that were invited to return to my team for this upcoming season accepted. So yes I would always suggest any potential player do their homework. My track record speaks for itself. I have 11 returning players that will play for me this season that played for me last season. The ones who are not returning were not invited back. That is far less turnover than what most teams go through in an average season. I have one player that has been with me for 5 years, 3 others for 4 years, 1 for three years, and 5 for 2 years. That is continuity and those are facts. Our team won it's last tournament of the season when this parent did not bring her DD to the tournament and did not call to let me know she was not coming. Our team rallied together despite being short-handed to dominate for the entire weekend. I have the support of my parents, and more importantly my players. I can provide player, parent, and organizational references to any player who is interested in playing for me. Do not let one disgruntled former parent whose antics led to their DD not being asked to return for the next season deter you from playing with a great group of kids. I am ACE certified, CPR certified, background checked, references checked by the organization. We had a great turnout at our first tryout and there is a great amount of interest in our team from potential players.
