How can the OUTCAST be responsible for a dispute between an umpire and parent of a player from the opposing team just because they left the field?

I'm pretty sure that Casey is responsible for global warming, so I can believe it's his fault.

Ummmm.

I don't know how to respond to that statement?

Sorry for removing my team from what I felt was a bad situation that was getting ready to get worse.

You remove your team from softballs version of a jerry springer show and your at fault?................. Pay no attention to the people that like to hide behind new names , you did what you felt was right for your kids.

While I will agree that Casey and the entire 14u team is solely responsible for both Global Warming and the vast Right Wing Conspiracy, I find it difficult if not impossible to believe he or our 14u team were any source of unsportsmanship. Anyone who knows Casey at all knows he oozes over with sportsmanship and respect for his players, the opposing teams' players and coaches and umpires.

It is obvious what was most important to the other team that night if anyone from that team had anything else to say to the umpire after the game was 'over'. These league games should be practice for everyone, to work on some things for the weekend and release some stress and have fun.

Well, for the travel teams anyway, maybe the rec teams may take it more seriously?

Now I understand! Hot tempers and heated exchanges between parents and the umpires are a direct by product of the global warming caused by Casey,:yahoo: he must be the guilty culprit:lmao:

I was just going to enter this. Casey Breeze in a gentleman on and off the field. He always has the game and the players at heart. I can't imagine the situation that would make him feel he had to leave the field but if Casey felt that need, I know it was warrented!

Thanks to everyone for the kind words and feedback. :)

As far as I am concerned this issue is in the past. I will no longer post on the subject. It is time to move on.

I appreciate the ability to vent, and get advice from so many great Coaches and Organizations throughout the area. :)

As always, I will continue to try to learn from everything that happens on the field. Although I have Coached for many years, I always consider myself a student of the game. I will try to learn from this event and move on.

I would like to wish the opposing team and Coach, Good luck with the remainder of your season. :yahoo:

I was there when this happened and did not notice. Knowing Casey, Bob and the Outcast Organization I am sure they did what the did for a good reason.

Many years ago I was coaching a basketball game and I pulled my team off the court and out of the gym. Many who were not there questioned this but there were parents coming on to the court and it was getting real ugly real quick. In the end the safety of the kids that play for us is the main priority. Casey obviously had this in mind and I tip my hat to him.

The OUTCASTfastpitch organization was created and exists to foster a great environment for your daughter and her family to accelerate in the world of fastpitch softball. When you are considering teams for her to try-out, consider OUTCASTfastpitch. It won't just be her team, we will welcome her and her entire family into the OUTCASTfastpitch family.

She will not just finish the season a better player than she was when she started, but will have a love for the game that will stay with her as it has with founders Bob, Casey & Todd!!

Try outs will begin August 8, times to be announced soon!!!!
