Cleveland State Softball Viking Elite Camp​

Open to the following grad years: 2013, 2014, and 2015​

Location: Krenzler Field Dome/E 18th and Payne Avenue

Cost: $80 - Please register on or before Friday, January 6, 2012 ($90 at the door space permitting)

The CSU Softball Elite Camp is designed for experienced softball players that would like to achieve the next level of becoming a collegiate softball athlete. You will receive the opportunity to showcase your softball skills through collegiate drills and competition.
Camp includes: Collegiate skill instruction, 2 fifty-minute games, Camp T-shirt, & Lunch & Drink.

Players will be divided into 8 teams. Registration is limited to 16 pitchers, 16 catchers, 32 infielders, and 24 outfielders. Camp is limited to 88 players.

Schedule:
8:30 - 9:00am Registration
9:00am - Introduction
9:15 - 10:15am Offense Skill Instruction
10:15 - 11:15am - Defense Skill Instruction
10:15 - 11:15am - Pitching & Catching Skill Instruction
11:15 - 11:45am - Lunch in Krenzler Dome (Pizza, Fruit & Drink)
11:45am - 12:00pm - Divide into Teams, Meet Coaches, & Throw
Games: 12:00 - 12:50pm, 12:55 - 1:45pm/Recruiting Session w/Question & Answer
Games: 1:50 - 2:40pm, 2:45 - 3:35pm/ Recruiting Session w/Question & Answer

Please bring the following: Glove, Bat, Helmet, Tennis Shoes, Turfs or Molded Cleats (NO Metal Cleats allowed on Turf), Catching Gear, and Pitchers must bring their own catcher that is not a part of the camp.

That's what I saw on their website. Surprised they didn't update this thread.

Yes it has been cancelled, my dd was really looking forward to it. I think they didn't get the number of players signed up that they needed. I wonder if it being on a Monday has anything to do with it even though it is a holiday.

I had to work, so we didn't sign up, even though my child did not have school.
