These clinics are very useful. I went myself to one about 2 years ago and it was definately worth it. Now she's got time to actually show up because the Olympic team isn't training so hard, so if you can go I would really recommend it. I wish I could go again!!

The clinic will take girls as young as 8 through HS. The young ladies will be broken into groups based on age . This way as each group goes through the drills, they will be with other players of similar age and skill set.

several have asked, pitchers must bring along somebody to catch for them. If it is a teammate, equipment must be worn.

There are two sessions on fundamentals. Is the second session (1:00 to 4:00 pm 11/13) an advanced fundamentals session? Is the morning session a pre-requisit to the second session?

LesC, regarding fundamentals. The 1st session is Not a pre-requisite to the afternoon session. We have plans for drills for beginners and a nice package of advanced drills for the more advanced player. All players will participate in some of the same drills, than the plan will be to break off the more advanced players for drills more appropriate to thier skill level. Both fundamental sessions will be similar. We are in the process of working with Crystl Bustos and Michael Bastian to finaize the drills plans.

Peanut25, Hitting will be set up in approximately 10 drill stations, including machines for hitting in cages and for bunting drills. We are working on having 2 coaches at each station and Crystl and Michael will float and work with the kids. Crystl and Micahel will start the session with a nice discussion on the fundamentals of hitting.
