Just got done talking with Coach Walton. He is very excited about coming to Ohio. He has a LOT planned for the coaches/parents and players. Please make sure your DD's have everything they will need for the whole day. They will need gloves, masks (if they wear them), helmets, bats and tennis shoes ONLY. We will also be extending the finish time until 5:30. Coach Walton wants the time to work with the girls and so we will do it. We will be handing out the Willie's coupons at the coaches portion of the clinic in the morning. Again, anyone with any questions just let me know.

Coach Walton has arrived safe and sound. I cannot tell you all how incredible I think this clinic will be. Spending time with him tonight, he is a fountain of information.

I want to thank Coach Tim Walton for an incredible time today. His insight into the game is just great to listen to and watch him teach. I want to thank all of the coaches, parents and players who came out to see Coach Walton. I hope you all learned something like Coach wanted you to do. Thank you to the coaches who helped with the afternooon session. It is very much appreciated.
On that note, if anyone would like to give me feedback on your thoughts about the clinic I am all ears. The only way we can make it better or improve upon it is with your help. Again, thank you to all who came out.

From the Valley Storm 12u, Thanks to the Hawks and Coach Walton for putting this on!! Our girls had a blast and we all learned alot. It always to nice to have someone like Coach Walton repeat something you've been trying to teach your team and finally see the light bulb go off in the girls' heads. lol:lmao:

A couple of things stood out to me that Coach Walton talked about:

1) Pitching - In order of what he looks for, Movement, Location and then Speed.
2) Catching - Catchers who are able to Frame pitches.
