The color got interesting. Never heard of a "sneaky bunt" before.

I was very supprised at the lack of control that the senior Mich pitcher had.

As glad as I was to be able to see a game on tv, I was disappointed at the level of play and mechanics from two such top notch teams.

It still was great to see real fastpitch on TV...not Little League... I agree that the pitching didn't seem as sharp as the NCAA championsip game....and wow the National Champ giving up 4 homeruns.....but we got to remember it is March not June, glad to see Samantha Findlay still crushing the ball, It was fun to see UM exploting Jelly's inability to "field her position"....they should have done it more.....more small ball may have made the difference.... Why didn't either team change pitchers? Is there no one behind Ritter, how many meatballs can she serve before they try a new chef? Fun game, can't wait till summer!

I agree with all it was great watching college ball on tv. The commentary could have been better, I could recognize many pitches from delivery and movement. And there were some on both sides that missed, which were taken advantage of well. JMO but I was more impressed by the UCLA sophmore pitcher's performance than Ritter. She mentally handled herself well, in spite of her mistakes.
Both teams attempted small ball at times, but was not impressed with either side. Way too many fouled or popped.
Was very impressed with the hitting mechanics on both sides. Both coaching staffs list of accomplishments is extremely impresssive.
I hope ALOT of parents and players paid attention to how many balls went to the outfielders and their importants in the game. Also that pitchers need to spend time on throwing overhand too! Good small ball teams will eat them up and spit them out.

Defintely agree with instead of showing the world "little league fastpitch", which was depressing, there should be more games like this for the world to see!
