Fastpitch Scouting Report and the Akron Racers have teamed up for the most exclusive event in the sport. The All-American Games will bring together the top 64-unsigned players from the sport to historic Firestone Stadium in the summer of 2012. ​

Players will learn first hand what it takes to be a professional athlete. Players will spend 3-days in the most prestigious environment the sport has to offer. They?ll work out with the NPF players, who will also be coaching their teams during the event. The players will have multiple interactions with the NPF players during functions throughout the week.​

Players will work out in front of college coaches and showcase their skills in games prior to the NPF games. They?ll also have a chance to participate in the Homerun Derby that will take place on opening night in front of the Akron Racers crowd.​

How to become an All-American​

​

To qualify for the 2012 All-American Games players must do the following​

1. Attend a National Tryout or be accepted into a College Showcase Event from Fastpitch Scouting Report between September 1, 2011 ? July 15, 2012.​

2. Players must be unsigned, meaning no verbal commitment to a college program.​

3. Players in the 2013-2016 graduating classes are eligible.​

4. Players must display reasonable academic standards for acceptance.​
