The Ohio Sapphires based in NE Ohio will be holding tryouts for our 13u, 14u & 16u teams in August. Times, dates and locations along with team info will be posted soon...

I wantto thank all the girls that came out to the Sapphires 14U (2002's) tryouts overthe last 2 weeks. Looking for one more pitcher or CF/OF. 14U(2002's only) Will arrange private tryoutor invite to practice in Solon area.

We welcome multiple sports athletes as players are still finding the one or two sports they will focus on as they enter HS and beyond. Our goal is to ensure that Softball is a wonderful experience for the girls on this team and something they will always look forward to participating in. Through training, player development and tournament selection, we also want to give our players the best opportunities for success as they compete at the highest level they choose.

The Team will play 1-2 fall tournaments and winter league. 2017 summer will be 7-8 Tournaments with 2 or 3 overnight trips. (PA, Mich, Columbus etc) As older 14s we will play at least 2 true college showcases tournaments in addition to States and Nationals.

We are looking for 2-3 Players to join strong returners and new players that we already added late this summer. We will most likely carry 11 and no more than 12 players for next season.

The Ohio Sapphires 16U (2000's) is returning most of the team and will hold private workouts for a few open spots to add to a very solid group of high quality young ladies.

Our schedule will remain with the same focus again next year which is to promote exposure for our players to College Coaches.

Last years schedule included:
Dayton Metro, Madness Showcase, ASA States, Gapps College Showcase and PGF Premier Showcase
1-2 Fall Tournaments/or Camps
Indoor HS League
8-Summer Tournaments total

Final open tryout is Saturday August 13[SUP]th[/SUP] 6M-8M-

We will have tryout at our winter facility. Location will be

25921 Cannon Rd, Bedford Heights Ohio, 44146.

This is about 20min West of Solon and close to freeway

Our returning core had a batting average of 355 at 13U. We have added strong players and Coaches will look to wrap up our roster after next tryout on Saturday the 13th and get the girls ready for fall tournaments and winter league. We will field a very competitive team in 17 and will look to participate in a number of NEO and Central Ohio's top tournaments.
