RACERS FOUNDATION TO SPONSOR COMMUNITY INTER-LEAGUE GAMES
Spotlighting Rec Ball teams and players June 22-24 at Firestone Stadium


AKRON, OH—The Racers Foundation will sponsor the inaugural Community Interleague Games to be held at Firestone Stadium June 22-24. Area Rec Ball Leagues and respective teams are encouraged to participate in this special event designed specifically for the non-travel ball teams.

“This event is designed to reach out to teams who do not play on the travel ball summer circuit,” noted Joey Arrietta, Foundation President. “There are numerous young players who just want to play and that’s the type of player this event is seeking to involve.”

The event features a two-game guarantee with one game on the main diamond and the other on the adjacent Pony Field. The $125 entry fee will cover one umpire per game and two game balls.

Age Brackets: 10U, 12U and 14U Girls Fastpitch

Registration Fee: $125.00/team

Location: Firestone Stadium

Format: 2 games – one on the main field & one on the pony field

Update - Since we are finding that teams can't field a whole team, we are allowing teams to combine together for this event but, they have to be players from the same REC League.
