In the 18u bracket... in the pool play part... it shows two Sunday 6:30 p.m. games and it should be 6:30 p.m. on Saturday

Master schedule shows two 18u games on Fields #4 and #5 on Saturday.

Can't wait for this event to start.

Smokey Baker has always been a great event. I wish some of you knew about this tournament in the days of slow pitch. The best in the Midwest was always here. Always. Those powerhouses out of Louisville and Indy and Columbus and Cleveland would come here and it was a battle from the first pitch on any field. With the Cincy teams battling to respect their turf.. so to say.

To win the Smokey Baker was right up there with the best of all tournaments being played in this Region.

There was huge number of teams there... more than today because of the simple fact that fastpitch games take longer than slow pitch

This weekend is about Smokey Baker and who he was and what he stood for... that being girls softball, period.

Enjoy the weekend, your games may be apart somewhat.... but don't let that ruin the experience of the Smokey Baker event.

You are playing at a park known throughout the mens softball world as one of the nicest complexes in the Midwest. No better place to be when rain is in the forecast. If there is a delay ... enjoy the delay. Needless to say, Expressway can get back up and running probally faster than anyone around in my book after all rain passes.

Good Sportsmanship by all should be the key for the weekend. Meet new OFC'ers and old ones too ... and fun should be the key word when this event is done and teams signing up for the 2012 event before leaving the park to assure their spot for next year.

You make the event what you want ... hopefully everyone decides it to be enjoyable to watch and memories made for the DD's.

Is there a break on the 10U between the first semis game and 2nd? The first is at 11:20 and the second is at 2:40, with the final game at 4:20.

You are welcome for the props.... People really need to know about the event and why the event takes place in the first place.

Love to see the day when this event is a three or four dayer.. personally. 4th of July on a Tuesday next year? MMMMMM Friday, Sat, Sunday and MOnday.... driving home on Tuesday the 4th.

I just told them the info so if some parent came on.. they would know and not get all looking like this . I knew you took care of the coaches in letting them know.

That's how it was last year in 10u when we won it last year (Static '99). It was an endurance test in the heat for sure.

I was questioning the lack of a game at 1pm. I am wondering if that is the consolation game?

Being they don't show the Lower bracket... I would say it is a lower bracket game. Probally ( don't quote me as this is a guess) but probally the two losers from the morning two morning rounds of 2nd Place vs 3rd Place will play at 1 pm

That storm in Indiana is moving south right now at 2:20 a.m. :yahoo: The larger part is so far. I see showers hitting Milford around 4:00 am and 4:30 am time slots.

Best place to be to play if rain is in the forecast is Expressway park. They drain fast.
