INDIANA - The Concord Community School District has fired softball coach Jess Dooley.* Superintendent Wayne Stubbs issued a release stating the school board approved the move Monday, April 20, following Dooley's suspension without pay.**
Dooley was placed on suspension after she tweeted a threat to Walkerton Pizza Shop, Memories Pizza. The tweet was sent when news broke the pizza parlor would not cater a gay wedding if asked to do so, because of religious objections.* Memories Pizza had gained attention in the wake of Indiana's passage of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. Dooley asked in her tweet who would join her in burning down the pizza shop.*
