Nice job with the interview Todd.

One of the questions was the difference in the teams met when in Huntington Beach.

The roster sizes were definitely larger ... the one OC Batbusters team had 19+ on the roster.

A few differences I noticed was the aggressive play of some players, especially when the game was not going their way. Routine tags on players with the force of a punch by Joe Frazier and a few high cleats on slides. (obviously not their first rodeo and I have never witnessed that type of play here) An aggressive 3rd base coach trying to get into our pitchers head by calling a time out in the middle of her pitch or slowing down the game when momentum was obviously on our side.

PGF bracket play ... all games go 7 innings which is nice (unless you're in the loser s bracket and have to win 5 back to back to back)

Was truly amazing watching a team of young ladies, who practice in a garage during the winter, make some noise and turn some heads from some big names in the game.

I just went back and listened to the podcast, and Todd really did do a great job with the interview. Not only is he obviously a very good coach, but he represents the Outlaws organization and the state of Ohio very well!

I think the world of Todd and his commitment to the game. He is a non parent coach and sacrifices so much for these girls.
I truly believe this is one of the best coaching staffs in the state and for that matter the Midwest. Todd has two assistants that are more like co-managers. The great thing is they work so well together with no ego's. They all bring different things to the table.
My other two coaches are also not just great coaches but awesome guy's and role models.

Brian Van Ooyen has a great ability to analyze the game while staying calm in the most heated games.

Lee Richards is a former catcher in the Atlanta Braves system who is a true student of the game and one of the best motivators I have ever been around.

Guy's Thanks for a great year

Warren

PS
My only regret is that nobody asked Todd about 42-1 that's his best play.

It was really nice, having Todd on the show. My question to Warren, we can we get you on the show and promote PGF and talk about PGF in Ohio ?

Kudos to all for promoting the game of Fastpitch! Getting the word out, in a positive way, just makes our game that much stronger.

great team. This is one of maybe 2 16u teams that beat our 14u Bandits all year (I think, could have been 3 teams but no more). They were solid from start to finish. They won with a walk-off 2 run HR. Kiley was great at that at-bat. Finishing at this level at PGF is beyond a great accomplishment, it's huge! Nice job!
