Right over here!
Soo was at the park this weekend.. Well first off how many of us are seeing a new norm? Extended wait times on the phone ( due to Covid), reduced capacity at restaurants ( due to Covid), and a ton of other things, which are excuses to do things folks have wanted to do for a long time but now have a medical reason? Back to the park.

No parents behind the dugout, backstop, down the base line or anywhere near girls! All parents and non coaches have to be in the outfield now. What a heaven sent!! No screaming parents, coaches can coach and college coaches can now watch in peace! This will stick like super glue!

Just watch, Covid will be a concern at the ball fields for a LOOOONG time. Finally got the parents out of the ear shot of the dug out! But remember safety is the #1 concern.

I echo Dan the Man on this one. We played down in southern Ohio and it was business as usual. Felt great to get out there and knock the rust off. Lord knows A LOT of rust needed knocked off and it showed. Team went 5-1 and won themselves a tournament. That was expected though.
Everything was normal except for each team had game balls given to them before games. We even invited college coaches out and had 3 coaches show up to watch our girls. (DIII & NAIA) Surprised me they came out. Our AthletesGoLive had a good bit of traffic too.
everyone shook hands, girls relaxing together between games, parents under tents, and concession.
it was great to see a park with 500-600 people in it at peak not scared and enjoying watching these athletes play ball.
Don’t live life in fear people. We all gotta go sometime.

I can only hope and pray tournaments implement the no parents behind the back stop rule. Man that would be great!
