My daughter plays college softball in the NESCAC, New England Small College Athletic Conference. They are playing Spring Sports this season even though the Ivy League canceled and they usually follow what the Ivy does. They are only playing a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday. All schools in the conference are testing all students, faculty and staff twice every week with a PCR test. The athletes, Coaches, and Trainers are testing Saturday and Sunday before the game with a rapid test. During the games they MUST wear a facemask covering their nose and mouth and spectators are not allowed except for students and faculty who are part of the Covid testing program. These are the rules that must be followed in order to play. Some student athletes opted not to play because they didn’t feel it could be done safety during a pandemic and some opted not to play because of the strict rules. Most are playing and are thankful to be on the field doing what they love.

Yeah. DD plays PSAC and the rules are similar. They PCR test 3 days before every game although coaches don't rapid test. All need to wear facemasks except players. Parents and siblings are allowed to view from afar if they social distance but no public spectators.
