Mike, Doug, Derek and everyone involved in the planning and execution of this past week, thanks so much for giving Kenna the opportunity to work with some of the best by bringing them together for this event. She loved working with Dave and Marc Sunday, and said she really liked Dave's technique for hitting and that she felt very comfortable executing his mechanics. So happy to be with the Hawks and have these types of opportunities for our DD right at our front door!

Kenna is doing great .. she has really come on and is becoming a solid ball player.. it is amazing to see the progress kids make if they get opportunities to train with knowledgeable instruction on a regular basis ... that is why we built the HIT Center .. on Sunday we had 12-16 players in there all day ... great fun!

I wanted to give a special thanks to Howard Carrier as well .. HC came to the HIT center on Friday for 4 hours - talking to Dave P and exchanging hitting techniques. I was a fly on the wall and it was great to watch and listen.

His presentation on Saturday got raves from several coaches that called me.

On Sunday, HC came out and spent about an hour with Marc D ... showing him his methods and sharing. Howard has a big heart!

We are lucky to have HC here in SWO to train our kids. I spent an hour talking to him on Friday about continuing to train the Hawks coaches and players in his hitting drills and methods. His 'lemmings' have had great success everywhere, including our 18u Bower team which crushed the ball this fall in their showcase tourney's .. they are going to be a force next season.

I committed the Hawks to work with him as much as he can and to document the HC methods to preserve for future players and coaches...

Speaking of lemmings, i'd like to thank Dan (SBFamily), he was there as a parent, we were a little short handed at the player clinic and he jumped in and ran a station, no questions asked., thanks again Dan.....
