Runner Up - Lasers Red - they also have a missing pitcher due to final four

Laser Green is a great team but I hear they got beat by Ohio Hawks-02 14-3 over the weekend in a friendly. So i'd have to go with Hawks. Hard to bet against the Green though.

I would say 14U is a toss up between Lasers Green and Ohio Hawks Gold. Both teams are loaded.

16 and 18U will be interesting. Numerous teams missing multiple pieces. Static Shepard won it last year but he is missing a ton. Lasers, Hawks, Doom and MV Express all with talented teams but also missing starters.

Dont count out emeralds 01 (finished 2nd at stingrays last year) or valley 01 kelm (they have the 2 fastest pitchers i have seen, both of them are 60+ consistantly)

Hawks beat Lasers Green last weekend, Lasers White beat Hawks, and Lasers Green beat Lasers White. Good field this weekend, I'd say it's anyone's game this early in the year.

Lasers White and Hawks Gold in the Championship Game tomorrow at 14U. Rain washed the Losers Bracket.

Doom 99 had the unfortunate pleasure of running into lasers purple for our 4th game of the day yestrsay. Wow, can that team hit. Scali started for them on the rubber, throwing hard and smoking batters. Otani wrapped it up in the last few innings. Pitching was damn good, but there bats were most impressive. Shout out to the catcher Wulf, who jacked one out, and just hit the tar out of the ball all night. Doom kept fighting, but just too much fire power from purple.

16U, Lasers Purple 6, Ohio Hawks Gold 3
18U Lasers Red 7, Static 1

Great weekend of softball with tons of talent. Lots of close games.

Looks like I only predicted 1 champ correctly. Lasers Purple is going to be a force this year!
