A shout out to my DD of whom I'm very proud. What I have learned from her, dont let people tell you are not athletic enough, not fast enough and simply just not good enough. As she enters her last and final year of H.S, she has exceeded my expectations and those of many others, how you ask? By refusing, by working her a** off everyday and using negativity to drive her. She's refused to quit when others said she couldnt do it.
She has a couple D-I offers, several D-II's and others. It will ber her choice, she's deserved that opportunity to make it her choice.
She's currently in Florida on her own this week playing up at 18u and earned game MVP. This was a gut wrenching decision to send her alone, but one I felt was necassary, she will be on her own in college next year playing college ball somewhere without her daddy and biggest fan there to cheer her on. This is another step.
Kayla I love you and wish only the best kiddo. Go get em in Florida.
