DEFIANCE, Ohio ? The Defiance College softball team will host a fall league from September 2 through October 7. Games will be played from noon until 6:30 every Sunday. The league will be open to all high school girls at the cost of $80 and will include a skill development clinic, five doubleheaders, one tournament and a free shirt. FAST/Wizard Softball encourages players to consider this Fall League. While we also sponsor a Fall League with 900 players, it would definitely save people some gas money if they played closer to home.
We will notify our friends in that area to participate in the Defiance College Fall League.

Due to the Labor Day weekend, the fall league dates have been changed to run from Sept 9-Oct 21.

as many as would be interested!!! but, ideally i would like 6 for a first year league.

it is a possibility that has already been thought about though has been discussed yet with DSA. if we get more than 6 teams, we will probably need another field.

Diehl Park has pretty nice fields.

I would hope there would be a lot of interest in the NW Ohio area. For those players that love softball, this is a great way to extend your season, improve on skills, try new skills without the pressure that comes with high school and travel ball seasons. We have many very good softball teams in the area and if players from the 7 county area would participate this could be a very good fall ball league.
