Diamond Chix 11U team will be having tryouts on Sat. August 8th from 3-5 pm.
Location: Highland High School Field
3940 Ridge Road
Medina, OH 44256
The 11U team will consist of athletes with 09/10 birthdates. All positions are open, but we are definitely looking for pitchers and utility players.
The 11U coaching staff is highly experienced and consists of coaches from the collegiate and high school levels. Primary focus of this team will be on the proper development of offensive and defensive fundamental skills while increasing understanding of game situations and strategies.
Looking to play 1-2 fall tournaments and 5-6 summer tournaments and to stay as local as possible for most tournaments. We will play 10U for the fall and then spend the winter offseason preparing the team to play 12U in the summer (due to some athletes having birthdates requiring them to age up).
Our goal is to field a team that is comprised of athletes committed to attending practices, willing to work hard/pay attention/stay focused and learn to compete. We also want athletes that are fun to be around, exhibit good sportsmanship, and are good teammates.
Outdoor practices will be based out of Lorain County (Elyria/N Ridgeville area). Indoor facility/practices based out of Premier Athletics in Valley City.
