Our panel of staff and student-athletes discuss the many facets of well-being and the ways in which individuals can seek to enhance their mental and physical health through programs and resources offered by Gettysburg College. Assistant football coach and Strength and Conditioning Coordinator Mike Hoyt breaks down the physical components, while Director or EES Student Success and Well-Being Cindy Wright talks about the importance of mental health. Student-athletes Shane Manieri '22 (baseball) and Emily Wielk '20 (track and field) lend their own experiences and the benefits of engaging in campus activities, including S.A.I.L. (Student-Athlete Impact Leaders).
