Info I received in an e-mail from the Gillis Academy.

"New this fall will the opening of a Gillis Academy location in Columbus, Ohio. Jim Yates has been one of the top pitchers in the Midwest over the last decade with teams in Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania. He has trained with Doug for the past 6 seasons and has completed the Instructor Training program. Scheduling will be done through the website and details (start dates and times) will be included in the fall edition of the Pitcher's Circle."

Exciting news for girls that want to receive pitching instruction from one of the best instuctors in the US.

I took my dd to a lesson tonight at All Stars in Worthington with Jimmy Yates.... All I can say is WOW!!!! This guy is a true expert pitching instructor..... KRM you are correct that he knows his stuff.... Have you seen him throw??? Pretty impressive to say the least..... My dd was pretty good but in just one lesson she got a lot better... Over the past year she was having back and shoulder pain when she threw but they stopped hurting after about 15 minutes of him working with her......... I AM TRULY AMAZED!!!!!!!!!!
