Explosive Fastpitch is excited to add Keith Buckley as our newest coach to join the organization as a 12u coach. This 12u team is open to all girls with 03 and 02 birthdays that have a strong passion for the game and want to learn from a very accomplished coach with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Coach Buckley is all about teaching the proper fundamentals of the game. As a non parent coach you will be joining a team where all positions are earned and playing time determined by your daughter's ability and commitment.
Keith has been involved with Elyria Little League baseball for 8 years as president, coach and UIC. Keith has been coaching girls fastpitch for 10 years and has had many successful seasons with North coast spirit and Keystone Tidalwaves. Here are some coaching highlights from his girls' teams:
2008 - 2nd place NSA Nationals, took 14u team to Little League WS
2009 - 2nd place in Little League World Series - 14u

2008-2009 Finished both seasons with a 41-3 record
2010-2012 Keystone HS assistant coach
2011 - State runner up
2012 - State champs 32-0
2014 - Sundogs 14u HC
Keith is also a varsity HS level umpire for baseball and softball so he will teach your daughter rules an respect for the game from both sides. He will have his daughter Brianna help out with the team as a special assistant. Bri was a key member of the state champion Keystone Wildcats team where she earned honorable mention All-American honors. Bri is currently in her junior year at Ashland University.
