Explosive Pink 14u is looking for 3-4 athletes for the following season. As Explosive Black 12u this past summer we completed the summer season with a 27-26-1 record while playing a very tough summer schedule that included 3 ASA/USA qualifiers: (Madness, ASA States, Fireworks Frenzy, and 2 select invitation only showcase tournaments (Stingrays, GAPSS), along with several early season PGF events. We want to build on this success next season.
We are looking for committed players who strive to play and compete against quality opponents and look to improve their skills through hard work and dedication. Explosive Pink 14u is coached by Dave Jesionek, a non-parent coach currently coaching at Holy Name HS and his daughters Olivia, and Brianna who have played at Division II Walsh and Division III Baldwin Wallace.
Explosive Pink 14u will have an ambitious fall and winter practice schedule to prepare the girls to compete as a true first year 14u team. This winter, as we did last year, we will have weekly 2 hour practices on our 10,000 Sq. ft. turfed indoor facility along with another night of team hitting practice beginning in November. These twice a week indoor practices will go through early April until we can go outdoors.
In February and March we will also have an additional night at the facility for scrimmage games. In addition to 2-3 fall tournaments we will play in 1-2 winter tournaments, and 7-9 spring/summer tournaments.
There are very few, if any, 14u organizations in NE Ohio that offer the same benefits for your 01 daughter. Non parent coaches with college experience, an indoor facility with a full size field to practice game situations available 1-2 / week, and an organization with the opportunity to play in some of the top level tournaments in Ohio.
