Pitching and Pitchers Discussion FACE GUARDS FOR PITCHERS AND FIELDERS

Can any one give me any info on where I can find face gear for pitchers and or fielders. My daughter is an infielder and pitcher and has suffered a severe face injury a little over a year ago. Since then she has periods of time where she pulls her head on ground balls. I am thinking about trying a guard to help her get her confidence back. Hopefully being able to wean her from using it eventually.
Thanks much in advance

As a temporary fix, you might try using a batting helmut with a face guard.

my daughter used one for about a year and now is not using them. I have a brand new one that I bought for this summer season, but she doesn't want to use it anymore. It is still in the plastic package. It has never been worn or opened to my knowledge. If interested send me a private email with your email address and telephone number. I am willing to sell it at a discount since she decided to not use them anymore.

My DD had a fractured cheek bone last season and I bought her a Bangerz Fielders mask from Softballjunk.com. It's like a lacrosse mask. Wire frame with soft foam around the wire. no plastic so it stays cool, it protects the eyes, nose, forehead and cheekbones. Not the mouth. she still wears a mouth guard. She pitches and plays third. She loves it.
