Has anyone heard from the parks department regarding schedules and times for the league? I have not received any replies to my inquiries with them...?

This is the U12 Road Warriors and I haven't heard anything yet.

I spoke with them a few minutes ago; due to a lot of late entries, they are finalizing the schedules tomorrow and will have them out tomorrow night!!

Is this a rec league -- Just wondering because on the crazy messed up schedule I saw Springboro Roar U14 team listed and they are REC. Also, I thought the rules stated that no more than 4 girls from the same school could be on a team? Maybe I misunderstood what I THOUGHT I was reading, happens to me all the time. Anyway, roar 14 team, all the girls are from the same school. Anyone know?

Springboro doesn't have a middle school team. The league rules are really a reminder of the OHSAA rules stating no more than 4 girls from a scholastic team may play on a non-scholastic team together between Aug 1 and May 31.

The schedule is pretty crazy, having 12u rec teams going against 14u select is a waste of time...

Wrong neans the schedule bear almost no remblence to reality. Teams dropped out and teams not in the schedule joined the league late. 18U Charmers were scheduled to play 16U Flyers, but they didn't show. Ended up playing a 14U team - The results were about what you would expect.

This seems unusual, events down at Rotary park in Beavercreek are usually well ran!

There is a new guy running it. This is his first year. Skinner will work out the kinks and straighten things out. Please be patient. Many of you know Ashley Skinner. It is her dad.

He has been around softball all of his life. He will get things worked out. He is a good man.

I agree, he will get it together. He`s taking on a pretty big task.

Last Sunday seemed to go pretty well. With Mr. Skinner hitting the ground running, I think everything will shake out ok. The fields were in great shape, hopefully the rain won't stay this weekend.

But the OUTCAST 16U team plays the Lady Charmers 18U twice. OUCH!

But what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, right...?!
