Hi, Coaches!
I am extending the chance for your kids and teams to play this fall. I am continuing our fall league, but the venue is changing to Lakeland Community College. I am on staff there as an assistant to head coach Judy Sargent. I'm looking forward to the great opportunity.
Team registration, player registration and flyer forms are attached. Please distribute to your kids as soon as you can. The deadline will soon approach. ALL checks are to be made out to Lakeland Softball. All players must have a registration/waiver form completed. Travel teams will need proof of insurance.
Play begins Sunday, August 23. The first game will begin at 8 a.m. and the last begins at 2:40. Lakeland has one fenced field equipt with a scoreboard. I don't want to split Saturday and Sunday mornings because your kids might participate in a fall high school sport that has Saturday contests. However, we will have one split Saturday/Sunday weekend because we (Lakeland CC) have fall ball games. You'll get a schedule at our coaches' meeting Sunday, August 16, 7 p.m., at Lakeland. There is plenty of room to warm-up. There is extensive parking near the field. Restrooms are on the premise.
