I was sent an email this evening stating that the 10/2 16u event was canceled for lack of interest. I`m confused.... how can everybody and their brother have teams, and this guy can`t get 4 teams to play a 1 day 3? game minimum tournament?
At 16u how much practice do you need before you go play somewhere? Last I seen Vally Extreme only had 3 teams for their tournament at 16u, and that is typically one of the best run tournaments anywhere.
Here is my question.... if teams are not going to play Fall tournaments then why can`t we let the kids have a little time off before jumping right back into try-outs the 1st week of August?
Ahhh I long for the good old days when try-outs were held in late September and the North Canton Grand Slam tournament (mid May) was really an "early bird " tournament. ;)

Does that mean the 18u is cancelled? Were they being run together? 16/18u or sepaerate?
