This weekend was YSU fall classic and I enjoyed watching my girls play of course but I really enjoyed seeing and catching up with players and parents I have met during course of travel ball play. I didn't realize I knew this many people. :yahoo: Great weekend.

thanks Sam.. Awesome seeing our kids being happy with their choices. Great to see Sara spinning that ball and leaving those batters looking baffled.

Perfect weather and great ballpark to watch the kiddo brush off the rust. I got to see her play 6 games (D2) and I also got to see some great D1 talent. The Akron vs Cal (Pa.) was a great game with Akron coming out on top. Also got to see YSU play Buffalo which ended up going to extras.

I wanted to see the Pitt vs Toledo game but daughter was playing at the same time.

Fantastic umpiring and even better fans. It's really nice to sit in a ballpark and meet up with friends you haven't seen in a while and not hear any parental yelling.

What was the score of the Akron vs Cal game? Cal has a nice team. Buffalo had some aggressive hitters from one to four. Ice can probably give you some details on the Pitt vs Toledo game. I have to agree about the atmosphere in the stands. A lot of nice people just soaking it all in and sharing the experience.
