We are excited to bring this one-of-a-kind opportunity to the Pittsburgh Area. For 10 weeks, your daughter will work alongside other high level experienced players in an intense camp led by some of the top instructors in Western PA. Players already committed to the camp include players from the area's top Travel Softball Organizations such as (Ohio Lady Lasers, Ohio/PA Outlaws, Steel City Cyclones, Team Pennsylvania, Canonsburg Lady Knights, Pittsburgh Spirit and Team Easton). We tested the camp for a few weeks in November/December and received great feedback and requests to continue it through the winter.



Dates:
January 17 - March 21 (Tuesdays, 10 Sessions)


Time: 7:30pm ? 9:00pm


Location: Allegheny Health Network Sports Complex at Cool Springs, 1530 Hamilton Road, Pgh, PA 15234.


Cost: $20 per Session/week. 10% Discount if all 10 Sessions paid in Advance ($180). Cash, Credit or Check welcome. Checks made payable to: Allegheny Health Network.


Age: 13 +


Limited to 20 Athletes per Session. May add a 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] weekly session based on demand (most likely would be Thursday evenings if a 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] session is needed).

Format: Camp will cover Advanced Defense and Hitting Skills. Camp is high intensity and challenging, best suited for experienced players looking to take their skills to the highest level.
- Advanced Defensive Drills will emphasize developing strong glove work and quickness of release while mastering more difficult skills such as backhands, short hops, slotted throws, and much more. Athletes will be challenged to be able to make high degree of difficulty throws while increasing their range and defensive value. We will also work on Footwork/Receiving Skills at the bases for all positions.
- Advanced Hitting drills will emphasize developing strong rotational strength, creating great bat speed and extension through contact, and hitting to all parts of the field.
- Baseline Testing (Video Analysis, ?Showcase Preparation?, Bat Speed, Overhand Throw Speed, etc).
- Specialty instruction available for Catchers

Primary Instructors:
Patrick Sadler, Lead Instructor of Baseball/Softball (AHN)
- 3 yrs of Professional Baseball experience.
- MLB Scout for the Seattle Mariners
- 10 + Yrs as Professional Instructor and Elite Travel Baseball Coach (Pittsburgh Diamond Dawgs), helping to lead many players to be drafted to MLB, play professionally or earn college scholarships.
- Member of the USA National Team in the 2000 Pan-Am games

Josh Wilson, MLB Player and Professional Instructor
- 18 yrs of Major League Baseball experience primarily as a SS, 3B, and 2B. Played all 9 positions over MLB Career with a Career .959 Fielding %.
- Drafted in 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] Round (1999 MLB Amateur Draft) by Florida Marlins; made MLB Debut in 2005.
- 1998 Pennsylvania Player of the Year (Mt Lebanon)
- Member of the USA National Team in the 1999 Pan-Am games. Named to the USA Today High School All American Team in 1999.

Mike Wilson, Division I Baseball Coach (retired) and Professional Instructor
- 20 Yrs Division I Baseball Coach (17 Yrs @ Duquesne, 2 Yrs @ LSU, and 1 Yr @ Pitt).
- More than 300 career wins @ Duquesne competing in the Atlantic 10 Conference including numerous trips to the Atlantic 10 Championship tournament.
- Coached numerous players who went on to be drafted and play Major League Baseball.
