Here is another one I love, it is from this weekend. Bad picture of her but nice action shot...just not as clear as I wish it was...Beck~DD was the runner. He called her out! The girl never even touched her, but in the cloud of dust it appeared so. If you look closely you can see the ump getting his fist ready to call her out......so sad. Oh well. My DD catches sometimes catches also (she working on it still.....she is great in drills and practice but put a batter in the box and she is petrified. But we are going to fix that this winter.........

So glad she doesn't pitch her other position is outfield, that I can handle. We have so many pitchers in her age range for high school. But I am not worried about high school as she also runs track and as pretty decent at the hurdles so she is leaning towards travel ball and track in high school.

Speaking of umps missing the call. I found this pic from the `07 season while with the Lady Irish 10u team. Daughter steals home and runs into the catcher (from NAC Stingers) with a hard slide and knocks the ball out of her glove. The ball rolls a good 6 to 7 feet away from home plate. As you can see the ump is calling her out. About 3 seconds later he did change his call after the 1st base coach and myself (behind home plate with camera) about jumped completly out of our shoes! LOL!

After seeing some of these close calls at home from others I had to throw this out there.

Thanks, Ump. Couldn't help but notice the tape on her finger. Must have been Massillon the scene of the "broken" finger. Still like my avatar and give you full credit and cudos for the picture.

I gotta ask....how did this happen??? That is funny.

If you're referring to my goofball daughter, she finds a way to have fun at practice.

She put the bat in her helmet during bunting/slapping practice and was swinging it like an elephant trunk. :lmao:
