Lebanon is good , we had them 2-1 with 5 outs to go and got beat 10-4, they can flat hit and with power. They go very deep with pitching to go along with it. They will be tested this weekend with Glen Estes and Central Crossing then later when they go to Hoover. They are worty of the ranking.

Portsmouth Notre Dame (6) over Portsmouth Clay (2) 11-6 last night. big win in a very high pressure game for our kids. ... they had beaten us 2-1 earlier this year and had a one game lead in our conference.

These two teams will match up on April 28th at the Prebis Memorial (unless there has been a change to the initial schedule that went out). ;)

I can't wait. It should prove interesting. One thing for sure, it will depend on rotation for pitching as Goodpasture has stuck to his pitching rotation, independant of who they have played.

Another one I can't resist..I am from Canton and I know a few of the Hoover parents and this just blows me away. Either they are a better team (like you stated) or not! Big talk again and more excuses before the game even starts just kills me! Why don't we just let them play with out all the garbage?

In central ohio, team that you have to keep an eye out for is Grove City. They are flying a bit under the radar. Deep lineup and well coached. Pick Central and Central Crossing good too. Shhhh - don't sleep on Olentangy Orange.

I am not a Hoover parent. Every team is better or worse depending on who they have as a starting pitcher. Poland is not the same team if their #1 does not pitch. Same goes with Elyria, etc. My point is that if the #1 starters for either team don't start, it could change who the favorite would be. No excuses or garbage, just conversation. sorry if you don't like it.

Hard to miss Olentangy Orange, a team that is definitely on the radar for its undefeated season. Looks like Orange well deserved its ranking in the first State Poll.
