Alanna "Barker" Comfort former Ohio University starting pitcher and Akron Springfield Division I 4x State Champion giving lessons in Newark, Hebron, Heath area and Zanesville.

I love the game of softball and pitching in particular. I was fortunate enough to have had the best instructors in Ohio growing up (George Duhon, Dan Greathouse) along with my dad flying Ernie Parker to meet with us on several occasions. (Befriending him at a ASA National Tournament in New Mexico while coaching Lisa Fernandez who played for the California Panthers in about 1984). My sisters team the Ohio Chargers took second to the Panthers that year.

My tailored individualized instruction allows my pitchers to reach their full potential. I focus on mechanics, mental toughness and the art of pitch calling. Your daughter will not only have the pitches she needs , but will learn how to keep batters off balance by using her mind to calculate and determine the right pitches for certain situations. A skill that too many times is not taught in the pitching realm.
